Safe City Monitoring System Solution

Overview

The construction of the "Safe City" monitoring system is an important measure to implement the Ministry of Public Security's "Technology Empowering Police" strategy in the current real environment. The Safe City system fully utilizes the "digitalization, networking, integration, and intelligence" of safe city monitoring to maintain a good social security environment.

I. System Requirements

1. High efficiency and real-time performance, gigabit bandwidth ensures uninterrupted video monitoring for long periods.

2. High-level industrial design, wide voltage input, shockproof, moisture-proof, and hardware protection features.

3. Devices require extremely high reliability and are capable of unattended operation.

4. Wide temperature operation from -40 to +85℃, adaptable to various hot and cold weather conditions domestically and internationally.

5. Supports ultra-large frame transmission to meet the transmission needs generated by mainstream video algorithms producing super large frame lengths.

 

II. Solution

Solution Description:

Due to the large number and dispersed distribution points and large video data volume characteristic of the Safe City, the front end adopts wintop Optoelectronics RS202-1GF1GT (Gigabit 1 fiber 1 electric) and RS203-1GF2GT (Gigabit 1 fiber 2 electric) transceivers as access for front-end HD cameras, ensuring smooth video and clear images. To facilitate management and maintenance in the back-end machine room, rack-mounted gigabit transceivers are used as aggregation devices corresponding one-to-one with the front-end transceivers. Finally, all data is uploaded to the core switch. On the backend server and workstation, remote access to front-end cameras is possible at any time for video viewing and log inquiry.
