 I. Overview

The electronic police system is built on sections prone to red-light running, focusing on high-definition snapping and automatic license plate recognition. The establishment of this system will enable real-time monitoring of road traffic-related areas, automatically recording violations such as running red lights and violating traffic signs. It meets the needs of traffic management personnel for road traffic management and monitoring, and requires stable, reliable, and secure communication equipment to support data transmission.

III. Solution

    A three-layer star topology structure is established, consisting of the intersection application layer, intersection aggregation layer, and central monitoring layer. At the intersection application layer, an RS205-1F4T switch with 1 optical and 4 electrical ports is used to connect high-definition IP cameras, with an uplink to a hundred-megabit optical port; at the intersection cabinet, a RS6010-2GF4F4T gigabit managed switch is used, with four hundred-megabit optical ports aggregating data from the four intersection switches. The signal controllers and cameras are isolated using VLANs, and a 1000Mbit/s optical port uplinks to the monitoring center. The intersection aggregation layer uses a gigabit managed switch to ensure data isolation between services, guaranteeing the security and stability of the data. The managed switch facilitates the monitoring center's management and control of devices, allowing real-time monitoring of the status of on-site equipment for easier maintenance. Gigabit bandwidth ensures smooth and real-time data transmission.
