Safe City Surveillance System Solution

Overview

The construction of the “Safe City” surveillance system is an important measure for implementing the Ministry of Public Security’s strategy of “advancing public security through technology” in today’s real-world environment. The Safe City system fully leverages “digitalization, networking, integration, and intelligence” in surveillance to maintain a favorable social security environment.

2. High-grade industrial design with wide-voltage input, vibration resistance, moisture resistance, hardware protection, and other features.

4. Wide temperature operation from -40 to 85°C, adaptable to various hot and cold weather conditions at home and abroad.

5. Supports jumbo frame transmission to meet the transmission requirements of ultra-large frame lengths generated by mainstream video algorithms.

 

2. Solution

Solution Introduction:

Given the characteristics of Safe City projects, such as dispersed monitoring points and large volumes of video data, the front end adopts Wintop Optoelectronics RS202-1GF1GT (gigabit 1 optical 1 electrical) and RS203-1GF2GT (gigabit 1 optical 2 electrical) transceivers for access to front-end HD cameras, ensuring smooth video transmission and clear images. For easier management and maintenance in the back-end server room, rack-mounted gigabit transceivers are used as aggregation units corresponding one-to-one with the front-end transceivers. Finally, all data is uploaded to the core switch, allowing backend servers and workstations to remotely access front-end cameras, view images at any time, and query log information.
