With the rapid development of technology and increasing safety demands, video surveillance in parks has become an indispensable part of modern society. More and more parks are installing video surveillance systems to enhance safety and management levels. These systems not only cover every corner of the park but also achieve all-weather and comprehensive monitoring. Moreover, the functionality and performance of park video surveillance systems are continually improving, with higher requirements for video clarity, stronger data analysis capabilities, and more convenient storage and management. However, there are still some issues and challenges in park video surveillance. For example, the image quality of some surveillance systems still needs improvement, and the accuracy and real-time performance of data analysis require enhancement. Additionally, with the continuous increase in monitoring data, how to effectively store and manage this data has become an urgent issue to address.

Industrial switches play a crucial role in park video surveillance scenarios. They provide stable and reliable network transmission, support high bandwidth and large data volume transmission, offer rich port configurations and flexible networking methods, provide security protection and management functions, and support POE power supply, simplifying wiring and reducing costs, ensuring stable operation and efficient management of the park video surveillance system.

The National Intelligent Connected Vehicle (Changsha) Testing Zone is located in the Xiangjiang New Area of Hunan Province, covering an area of 1,232 acres. Construction began in 2016, with a total investment of approximately 1.896 billion yuan. It is divided into five main functional zones: management R&D and debugging zone, off-road testing zone, highway testing zone, rural road testing zone, and urban road testing zone. It officially opened on June 12, 2018, and was certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle (Changsha) Testing Zone in November of the same year, becoming a national-level test site for autonomous driving. It is the testing zone with the highest market demand integration, the richest variety of testing scenarios, and the most comprehensive supporting services in the country.
Intelligent connected vehicles are the result of the integrated development of multiple fields including automotive, electronics, communications, the Internet, and transportation. Their industrial development is gradually transitioning from technological research and development to mass production. The intelligent connected demonstration zone creates an intelligent connected environment on closed testing areas and open roads, equipped with advanced devices such as roadside units, intelligent traffic lights, and differential GPS base stations, allowing communication with onboard units to achieve V2I information exchange and sharing.

During the road testing in the park testing zone, the video surveillance project faces multiple challenges, primarily stemming from the complexity and diversity of the testing environment.
1. Stability under Electromagnetic Interference: In environments with strong electromagnetic interference, the video surveillance system needs to maintain signal stability and clarity. Electromagnetic interference may cause video signals to distort or interrupt, impacting the effectiveness of surveillance. Therefore, the system must have strong anti-interference capabilities to ensure normal operation in complex electromagnetic environments.
2. Performance under Extreme Weather Conditions: Harsh weather conditions such as sunlight exposure, snow, rain, and sandstorms pose a severe challenge to the durability of video surveillance equipment. Prolonged exposure to sunlight might cause overheating of the devices, while snow, rain, and sandstorms might cause physical damage or affect the clarity of the cameras. Thus, video surveillance equipment needs to possess characteristics such as dust resistance, moisture resistance, low-temperature resistance, and high-temperature resistance to ensure normal operation under various extreme weather conditions.
3. Adaptability in Complex Road Environments: The simulated road environment is complex and variable, including various traffic signs and changing road conditions, which imposes higher requirements on the recognition and analysis capabilities of the video surveillance system. The system needs to accurately capture and identify various situations on the road, providing effective decision support for managers.
4. Safety Protection and Equipment Stability: In the park testing zone, video surveillance equipment also needs to consider safety protection measures such as explosion-proof and lightning protection. Additionally, due to the unique nature of the testing environment, the equipment needs to have anti-corrosion properties to address potential chemical corrosion risks. These requirements add complexity and difficulty to the project.
In summary, the park video surveillance project faces multiple challenges, including electromagnetic interference, harsh weather, complex road environments, and safety protection. It requires the use of high-performance, highly stable equipment and advanced technical solutions to address these issues. This not only demands that the project team possess rich implementation experience and technical strength, but also requires a thorough understanding and adequate preparation for the special environment of the testing zone.

1. Real-time Monitoring: Conduct real-time monitoring of various functional zones and key facilities within the testing zone, including the management R&D and debugging zone, off-road testing zone, highway testing zone, rural road testing zone, and urban road testing zone;
2. Remote Control: Support remote control of the rotation, zoom, and focus of monitoring cameras for detailed observation and investigation of specific areas;
3. Event Recognition and Alarms:
4. Set up a Warning Mechanism: When abnormal situations are detected, the system can promptly issue alarms and notify the relevant responsible personnel.
5. Data Storage and Analysis: Establish a data storage system to retain surveillance videos and environmental sensor data for long-term storage, and create a database for management. Conduct data analysis to uncover patterns and anomalies in the testing area, providing references for the testing work.

This project employs Wintop industrial Ethernet switches, applied in the scenario of smart park projects. The entire solution is designed with a three-layer architecture, integrating 58 industrial switch devices. The core layer connects to one CM3728-4GF8GC16GF switch, the aggregation layer connects to one CM6124-12GF12GT switch, and the access layer connects a total of 56 switches, including 48 RS636-2GF4GT switches and 8 RS6312-4GF8GT switches.
The site is divided into 8 areas, with each area using 6 RS636-2GF4GT switches and 1 RS6312-4GF8GT switch interconnected to form a ring network. The access layer switches receive video streams from front-end cameras and signals from intelligent controllers and transmit these signals to the aggregation layer switches, which relay the data to the core layer three-layer switch, allowing the integrated management center’s large screen to view video surveillance clearly and intuitively in real-time, and supporting video playback.
